<strong>Dr. Victoria Akai</strong> is a distinguished business leader, economist, and advocate for ethical economic development with over two decades of transformative leadership across corporate management, chamber of commerce, entrepreneurship development, and international trade. She currently serves as a driving force within the Alliance for Economic Research and Ethics (AERE), where she champions integrity, innovation, and inclusiveness in Africa’s socio-economic growth. <strong>Dr. Akai’s</strong> illustrious career spans executive leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer of Duchess Naturals Limited (Nigeria & USA), and Director General of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI). At ACCI, she redefined the Chamber’s strategic direction, strengthened partnerships with policymakers, international donors, and private sector leaders, and positioned ACCI as a leading voice for sustainable economic transformation in West Africa. As the Founder and Director of the Business Entrepreneurship Skills & Technology (BEST) Centre, she spearheaded capacity-building initiatives that empowered thousands of entrepreneurs, women, and youth with the skills and tools to succeed in competitive markets. Her corporate leadership at KVS International Limited and her expertise in procurement and financial oversight for multinational development projects further highlight her unmatched versatility and impact. <strong>Dr. Akai</strong> holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from UNICAF University (in progress), an MBA from Nasarawa State University, and a B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
